Step 1. For this example will be running a partition through the centre of the case.
Step 2. Select the “Midplane between two planes” tool and select the front and back of the case.
Step 3. You will now see a work plane run though the case and you can add a partition to this work plane and it will run a partition through the case.
Step 4. However if you already have partitions running though the case front to back then this new partition will be highlighted red.
Step 5. Select and end face of your partition and then select the inside face of the partition running perpendicular to your newly added partition.
Step 6. Your partition will now reduce in length and snap to the face of the partition you selected.
Step 7. If there are other partitions clashing with your newly added partition, then repeat the steps above so that your new partition sits between your existing partitions.
Step 8. If you want to make it so you can rebate your new partition into your existing partitions, then locate the box labelled width, and increase that dimension the amount you want to rebate your new partition into your existing partitions. For example, if your new partition was 500mm and you wanted to rebate into either panel by 5mm, then you would increase the size of your partition by 10mm, making the width of your partition now 510mm.
