Adjusting the Position of a Partition and Work Plane

Using planes, we can adjust the position of partitions

Step 1. When you need to move a partition/divider, you don’t actually move the partition but the work plane it is attached to.

Step 2. To move a work plane, click the edit tool that is located in the operation tab in the tool bar.

Step 3. Select the work plane you want to edit, then input the new measurement you want the work plane to move to.

Step 4. You can now select the green tick to confirm your work planes new position which will then move the Divider/Partition attached to that work plane.

Note: You cannot move work planes that have been created with the “Midplane between two planes” tool. The only way to move these work planes is to delete the original work plane and replace it in the new position.
