If you need to change the materials on your case, you can access the ability to change all the parts that make up the external appearance.

Material picker window

Step 1. In the External view toolbar, select the tool labelled "Materials".

Step 2. You will then be presented with a screen showing the various options you can have for your case, which consist of:

Panels: The material that will form the carcase of your case, here you can choose between various thicknesses, finishes and type of panel.

Angle Extrusion: The Aluminium that is applied to the external edges of your case.

Lid extrusion/Base extrusion: The Aluminium that will be placed on the joint between the lid and the base.

Lid brace/Base brace: The Braces sits on the corners/junctions where the angle extrusion and lid/base extrusion meet. As a default these are linked with the icon of a chain with a tick, clicking this icon will unlink the braces and allows you to have braces that do not match top and bottom.

Lid corners and base corners: The corner hardware sits on the corners of the case. As a default these are linked with the icon of a chain with a tick, clicking this icon will unlink the corners and allows you to have corner hardware that does not match top and bottom.

Step 4. Once you have selected all your options, press the button labelled “Continue”.
