Step 1. Click on the “Add” foam tool, located in the Foam tab of the tool bar.

Step 2. A window will appear showing all the different foam we have available, you can add your own via the “Add Custom Material” tool ( see tutorial for “Add Custom Material” tool for details).

Step 3. Once you have selected the foam you want, you can now add your selected foam to internal faces inside the case. Hover your mouse over the panel you would like to apply foam to, you will see that it highlights in red. Select the panel by clicking on it and you will see that Autocase has now added foam to the face you selected.

Step 4. Working in internal mode, you will notice that the 2 faces of the case nearest to you are invisible, this is so you can see inside the case. If you need to work on these faces, simply rotate the case and you see that the faces that were not visible are now visible, you can now select these faces.

Step 5. If you want to change the size of your foam section, click on the “select to edit” button, select the foam you want to change, where you can then change the width and height of the foam section selected.
