Handles
Step 1. Select the face on the viewing cube that corresponds with the face you would like to place your handle on to.
Step 2. Click the “place” tool and select the handle you would like to attach to the case.
Step 3. The software will now focus on the face of the case you previously selected.
Step 4. Select an “anchor point” on your case. “anchor points” are a reference point that the handle / hardware is locked to if you resize the case.
Step 5. As per the instructions in the previous section, you have the options of “Right/Left Measurement input” , “Fixed Point measurements” & “Freestyle”.
Step 6. Once you have decided where your handle is going to be located, you can rotate it 90, 180, 270 degrees, left or right.
Step 7. Once you are happy with the placement and orientation, click the green tick to confirm the installation or alternatively if you would like to cancel the operation you can select the red cross.
Mirroring Hardware
Step 1. Select the mirror tool from the tool bar.
Step 2. The software will then show 3 work planes the the X,Y & Z axis’s of the case, these specify the center point of the software mirroring operation.
Step 3. Select hover your mouse over the hardware you would like to select so that the hardware turns red, then click on the hardware so it turns blue, this shows you have successfully selected that hardware.
Step 4. Select the plane/planes you would like the hardware to be mirrored on.
Note: you can select multiple planes during this phase, however you cannot mirror hardware after the mirror tool has completed its operation, if you need to mirror hardware on to an additional plane, edit the original mirror operation by editing the original piece of hardware you selected and selecting “Edit Mirror operation”.
