Anchors

When adding castors to a flight case, there are multiple anchor points available to choose from.

Anchor Positions

The outer anchor points are positioned inline with the outer case panel faces, so ignore aluminium and metal hardware protrusions.

The second row of anchors are aligned to the centre of the hybrid/T&G extrusion.

Choosing the correct anchors

This is important if you plan to adjust the case size later, or use the design as a template.

If you choose the anchor on an outer corner, this will allow you to maintain castor positioning relative to that point.
If you choose the anchor on the hybrid/T&G split, the castor would move closer to the overall edge of the case should you make the lid height smaller.
