Step 1:

Choose the Place option from the top ribbon bar, navigate to Castor and Wheel or use the search function. Choose 'Castor Strip'.

Step 2:

The software will now sense all available faces on which a Castor Strip can be placed. Hover over and click on the relevant place holder box, the chosen castor board location will now turn Blue. Press the Green tick to apply. (usually located to the left)

Step 3:

You will now be presented with this view.
(note you can drag the control interface around the window if you like)

Step 4:

You now input the values you would like the castor strip to maintain it's relative size to. (Front and Back)
The width is a fixed value, so enter that at the width you need.

The green box (castor strip) will update as you enter values and click into the next box.
You have now created your dynamically sized and positioned castor strip.

(remember you can edit these measurements at any point by entering the edit mode and clicking on the castor strip)

Step 4a:

This step is optional.
If you want to move the castorboard away from the case, to account for a spacer panel just enter this value in the 'Offset from Case' box.

Step 5:
Enter the value for the position Offset from Left or Right.

This measurement is from the centre of the castor strip to the edge of the case (case panel outer face)
The strip will maintain this offset as you update the case dimensions.
Remember this value for later, as it will make placing a castor centrally on it easier later.

Step 5:
Press the Green (apply) tick and the castor strip will create itself as a part.

Step 6:
Whilst viewing the face of the case with the castor strip on, press Place and then choose the castor.

Step 7:

Choose an anchor point, usually top left is a good place to start.
This locks the castor relative to the anchor point.

(please read the tutorial on Castor Anchor Points to appreciate why you might choose the different anchors)

Step 8:

Place your castor (usually) close to the chosen anchor point.
It will often appear RED to start, it will go GREEN once it is on a castorboard or strip.

Step 9:

Position the castor using the measurement inputs (or drag and drop).

Step 10:
Apply the castor by pressing the GREEN tick.

Please watch and read the tutorials regarding, mirroring, castor placement and anchors to get a better understanding of these functions.
